web development
Proactive Design + Marketing
I build a wide range of websites for a variety of different clients. Below are a few examples of these.
Smart Art Signs
Smart Art Signs is an independent family-run business based in Castlebar, Co. Mayo. They needed a full website redesign with e-commerce functionality, improved responsiveness and accessibility.
The client was very pleased with the results and has been receiving orders on the platform since launch. You can view the live site here. If you decide to pick up a sign or two, be sure and tell them I sent you!
GMIT Virtual Open Day
The Galway Mayo Institute of Technology faced a big challenge in May 2020 when their scheduled Open Days couldn’t go ahead because of the pandemic. We worked quickly to a tight deadline to produce a platform they could share with prospective students and their parents.

Additional builds I’ve done for GMIT includes DigitalEd.ie and the Marine & Freshwater Research Centre website.
itag
itag are leaders in tech collaboration, they connect members through networking events, tech talks, social events, and by hosting upskilling opportunities for leadership and future skills development.
Their website needed a complete overhaul. There was a big focus on featuring their upcoming and ongoing events, as well as opportunities for members to engage with their forums and community groups. We developed a clean, responsive site that was well received by the client and their community.
We’re now beginning the second phase of development to include additional features for members, including exclusive resources, content, and career opportunities.

But is it responsive?
Yes. Mobile and Tablet experiences are considered in all our website builds, even prioritised based on the client’s audience. With most users browsing more on their mobile phones, it’s absolutely essential that all businesses consider how their services or products are seen and experienced on smaller screens.
